There may be various definitions, but by itself, 体育 generally refers to sports. 运动 generally means exercise.

sports.tv is worth many times of exercise.tv.

Dude, don't set a fire you can't put out. Never in this thread have I asked you to tell me everything that you know. Hell, I have my own direction and I wouldnt listen to anybody else anyway.

You brought up an issue and i'm just arguing a point because I live and work in this country.

Glad that you picked something up... 子犬 This is puppy and this is dog 犬.

仔犬 This is not in any of my dictionaries (Excite.co.jp) or Langenscheidt. But it's pronounced "inu" like this 犬.

I didn't ask for your bio.
Don't get me wrong, I just enjoy making you feel ignorant.

.com has 1,380,000
.net has 1,110,000
jp has 1,070,000

Whats your point, .TV is a specialized porn machine for Japan? PSHHH.

"子犬"

"仔犬"

Check the stats yourself. Grats if you got a good name, but it's not showing up in any of the online dictionary or book based dictionaries I use.

Re: NeuStar Launches Chinese and Japanese Language Domain Names in .BIZ TLD

TIME OUT

I only asked a question. didn't realise we were gonna be comparing brain sizes and dick length.

com
cctld
.net
.tv .org
.biz
.cc
.ws

for arguement sake, .tv and .org are tied 4th.

the point of this thread was to rank how lame Asian IDN.biz was.

do we still agree it sucks big time, is anyone here going to chase any?

Yep, and i'd be glad to show your around if you're ever in the area

Regarding Alpha's point, a premium name is a premium name is a premium name. Although some premium names in market suited extensions are worth more than others.

You can be sure that I have a list of 50 Chinese and Japanese domains that I will try pre-reg.

Re: NeuStar Launches Chinese and Japanese Language Domain Names in .BIZ TLD

Dragging the thread kicking and screaming back onto the subject at hand, .biz ranks right up there on the lameness scale. It's not going to challenge the king of lame, .name, but still.

One question... how easy is it for a Chinese or Japanese person to express ".biz" it they were conversing over the phone about it.

"biz" to me, in English, just reeks of cheapness. How does it sound to them? Does it sound similar to any native words?

wow you have three degrees. I really don't care. Shows how professional you are by shoving it in our faces.

What are we doing now? Comparing brain sizes come on....... I don't brag about my stuff. The point is who cares how many degrees you have. All that matters at the end is how much people earn. I could have 10 degrees. It doesn't mean you're smarter.

Re: NeuStar Launches Chinese and Japanese Language Domain Names in .BIZ TLD

Since I'm not actively buying I'd suggest using

1. Google Translation tools
www.google.com/language_tools

2. Goo Translation Tools
http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/

write the term in English & see what the translation is.

&

Put the term in a search
Grab a sentence that has the term in it.
Put the sentence into Google Language tools & translate it

See if it's the same way you thought the term was used.

Remember one thing

If a word has multiple meanings, like sex
1. To have sex
2. Your Gender

Translations in other languages don't have both meanings.

I'm posting on a message board. I don't have time to check the lingo. I've worked for a national magazine as an editor.
As I said all that matters is how much you make. I'm satisfied.

Thanks ;-)

Is that really all you care about? "All that matters is how much you make"? Is there nothing in your life apart from $$$$ ???
