This is totally irrevalent. If you actually read this thread you would see what point I'm trying to make. All of a sudden ChinaStar jumps into the ring thinking he's hulk hogan and tries to pull the floor from under me with the "I have 10 degrees" excuse.

The answer is NO. I got into the IDN market to make money. I'm not leaving til I'm a millionaire.

Re: NeuStar Launches Chinese and Japanese Language Domain Names in .BIZ TLD

Well say what you like about Jeff, at least he has had the brain to realise that to make a lot of money out of this you need to acquire a solid portfolio of quality domains and that means investing time and money. OK, he may have given most of his cash to Snapnames, but he does have some good domains in his portfolio. Out of 1200 people that have signed up here, I would hazard that less than 50 could make the same claim, and I would suspect that Jeff is in the top 20. Frankly, I wish I started out with fewer qualifications and more business acumen.

I'm sorry, but if you say "All that matters at the end is how much people earn." then you need to have a rethink about your priorities. I can't put it any more politely than that.

What are your priorities? Can't people have more than one?

I don't care if people on this forum like me. After a year on these boards I can say almost all of the top idn portfolio holders also have enemies here. It could be another top IDN portfolio holder. However we have something in common. We all came into this market with a keen business sense and started early. We saw past others that are still stuck in ASCII land.

You are quite correct in what you say, unfortunately if asked to point the finger many would be pointing your direction. In Business, it is not good strategy to make enemies unnecessarily. But I do agree this forum was never designed to be some kind of buddies club, and the main object of the excercise has always been to share our knowledge for our mutual benefit. Getting Rich has been a primary objective. And for many that will just be the means to achieve a lot of other important goals. I just hope that when you are rich, which I am sure you will be, that you work out what it is all for.

On the contrary,

Having a member disagree with an opinion that I post doesn't necesarily make them consider me an enemy. If you call that being an enemy I could say the same for you. I talk to most of the main guys on skype very cordially. We are best buddies. There are only a few that I would consider an enemy here.

P.S. - Many would point the finger in your direction too. However I hope both of us have made ammends.

Frankly, I enjoy a good argument. Best to avoid letting it get too personal though. That causes stress, which is not good for the constitution.

Hulk Hogan? I was just acting towards multiple responses that I had not done my homework. And as Jacksonm has shown, I have and continue to stick to my stance on .tv.

No hard feelings at all, a bit of spice its sometimes nice to have in an argument.

Is this the right room for an argument?

Some differences in opinion among us, no big deal. If you go and post on DNF, acro will say the best name ever:

IDN.weird.

All is a gamble, just make sure you bet a little on everything so if any turns out right, you make back your cap.

No, this is a room for mind numbing, "follow the leader" style of debate.

Theres nothing wrong with following a leader. The smartest thing you can do is to realise there are always smarter people than you, and some of these might be worth taking a lead from.

just be careful who you follow
