Arabic Traffic

I have been looking at the traffic on my Arabic Domain at Namedrive.

A few things are becoming apparent:

a) There is more traffic on Arabic being reported than with an other script, although it is almost certain that Chinese domains are attracting more type-in. but we are not allowed ot see it for whatever reasons.

b) There are three distinct areas from which most of the traffic is coming North America, Asia and Other. My interpretation is that Asia essentially means the Gulf States and Other essentially means Eqypt at the moment.

c) Most of the traffic, but non the click through is coming from North America.

d) Domains with the highest traffic appear to be getting it from Eqypt, with other domains attracting substantial traffic from the Gulf. None of these domains is are getting signficant traffic from North America.

e) Traffic on domains from North America and elsewhere seems to be mutually exclusive. That is you are either getting one or the other.

This leads me to the conclusion that there is substantial useful traffic emerging on a small number of domains from typing in by browser in Eqypt and the Gulf States.

There is also a small amount of traffic on a large number of domains that appears to be speculators and spiders based in North America. None of this traffic seems to be specifically well targeted on the most popular keywords. This suggests that is either primarily from search spiders or fairly inept speculators.

but that may take 3 years or 10 years or more !

there is no doubt that this will happen at the end .

we are still waiting for the first arabic idn website to be developed.

Can you suggest me why I get "This IP address is banned" when I try to access some names. I am not based in china. I tried a few of yours, same story.

Well what are you waiting for?

Actually, I think that is highly conservative. I think the traffic will eventually be many thousands of time greater than it is today, and it certainly won't take 10years, possibly three is realistic.
