One Off Discounts to Sellers

As a special offer to our sellers and as this is our inaugural auction we are making the following adjustments to our auction terms. (Note that these terms will apply only to our first auction)

Our normal terms for sellers is that they pay 6% of the reserve price to enter IDNs into the auction with 4% of this fee being refunded in the event of a no sale.
Our terms for this, our first auction will be to charge only 2% of the reserve price. This will be your entry fee to the auction and is non-refundable. So, for example, if you place a $500 reserve on your domain the entry fee will only be $10. Future auctions will revert to our original terms.

Just to remind you the first Auction closes at Midnight GMT or Universal Standard Time on Monday 7th of May. The Auction will be open up to a week prior to this date and individual lots will start closing from about 9pm onwards.
Also, we are limiting the number of entries to our first auction and we are operating on a first-come-first-served basis so there isn’t very long to get your entries in.

We want to also remind you of the offer IDNbond.com have in place for this auction.
They are willing to take on the submission of names for sellers. This means you, the seller will not have to come up with the entry fee before submission of your IDNs.
Your domain will be held in escrow by IDNbond until auction end.
Contact them directly at webmaster@idnbond.com for further details.

The auction concept revolves around sellers making informed decisions on the value of their domains and placing realistic reserve prices rather than having an auction committee decide the reserves to be placed on domains. This is the reason we are basing the entry fees on the reserve price of domains rather than taking a 10% or 20% cut of the selling price. Apart from the 2% fee there is nothing else for the seller to pay and the total selling price goes to the seller.

You will find more information relating to our Elite Auction here:

We feel this a golden opportunity to get your IDNs in front of key buyers at minimal cost. It also represents an opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with your peers within the community.

Best Regards
DNlocal Team
