Hell, Fedora Linux can ping unicode domains now, but I just discovered it by accident. Nowhere in the release notes of version such and such did it mention in big red blinking letters that I can now ping unicode domain names! I guarantee you that a year after this feature was introduced, 99% of people still don't know about it.
