There is almost no one here who does not have many duds so welcome to the club.

Might suggest that you register at Dynadot where you have a couple of days "cancellation" period. Register first, get appraisals, then keep or drop.

Hi Lipps welcome to the forum.
1. check google trends for your names

2. check google with quotes
for example
http://www.google.com/search?num=100...22&btnG=Search

"sęx" gets you 439, what language is this, if there is not one associated with it, then most here I think would view it as a phising domain.

3. check google/baidu/yandex ect, popular search engines in each langauge to see if ads pop up (google.pl)

4. read the old posts here, vast amounts of valuable info. Start with Dec 2005 and work your way forward. I have done that several times, and each time there is always something make me say "dam" I wish would have picked that up back then. oh well live and learn, the info is there, but you have to work for it.

5. Good deals on secondary market as well, check it out.

6. Everyone here(ok maybe only me) has regged bad names drop them and move on.

Here is a welcome present. A nice simple commercial and correct .biz if you are interested. 監査.biz is still open. It means "audit" in Japanese. A commercial term certainly. 5000 ovt and lots of bids on overture starting from 138 yen. I just picked up the .net which was still open.

when I search I get 493 hits for it (as in four hundred ninty three.). "sęx" always search with quotes. Most of the first results are where you posted on other forums. If it were sex, as in english/ascii/latin sex then we would get ("sex") 418 million results .

congrats on the hits maybe it will pay for itself. I have sex.tv in portguese I think almost dropped it because I considered it a novelty at first later found it was in portugese. no hits, oh well. good luck.

Never been a big fan of the .biz perhaps this one has potential lol. Now ya know Im no expert for sure.....

Not getting huge hits to sex 5 to 10 per day, your probably right, they are probably from other domaineers. Guess they like to check out the sights but it will pay for itself over the year.

and I dont know why but I am going to keep the cards No real value but It just looks good. This domain thing has been a gamble so I guess thats why I wanted it. Seems to be reaching the level where it is starting to pay off but it has taken 3 years. Let me know the drop dates and Ill look for the ones you have. I live in Indiana and Slots were just approved here. I think there may be a small market.

I really like the IDN's. Everyone is still telling me to stay away from them but I think they are going to hit the roof one day.

You have to factor in that a 3 page mini site developed for "audit.biz" on Japanese Yahoo using wiki info would probably have a very very nice ROI for just a couple of hours work.

There are lots of potential commercial buyers of the domain if IDNs take off and despite the fact that it will always be discounted against more popular extensions .jp/.com/.net - it remains a very commercial domain.

Whereas no offense to 上.biz but where would you start to try to sell it? God?

Japanese have their own hyphen, it looks like ours, but is different.
