Re: ή.net - 7th letter of the Greek alphabet - 42,300,000 Google
Thank you very much for the correction. I have an old Excel document where I copied and pasted descriptions of some of my domains as I bought them, and that is what I had.
So what I REALLY have is:
[ ή ] is [ GREEK SMALL LETTER ETA WITH TONOS ];
is that right?
If so, here is the rectified result from Google:
Results 1 - 10 of about 16,800,000 for "ή"
I'll PM a moderator to get the title changed.
But first please tell me, is it still accurate to say it's the 7th letter of the alphabet?
(In Hebrew, there are letters like this which are the same except for an accent mark, yet their place in the alphabet is the same. We say there are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet, but if we counted the accented ones as having their own separate place in the alphabet, there would be 26. If we added the "final" forms of several letters, there would 30!! But no one ever says there are 26 or 30 letters in the Hebrew alphabet -- we say there are 22!!)
Is it the same in Greek?
