Probably intended $5 start, $10 increments of bidding.

Re: The knowledge in Arabic (المعرفة.com)

My guess is that it was a typo:

Open bid $5
Bin $100

It is just as obvious that he did not want a bin of $10 for an auction starting at $5. :)

do you really thinK that i will buy a domain for $7 and park ir for 8 months and sell it for 10$ ?

its a MISTAKE when i wrote "BIT $10" and it is very clear...

I make another mistake too in PM, When i said BID $100

I was mean BIN $100
An BID $10

Sorry for that too, i will mak it BIT $50 for you only :\

Re: The knowledge in Arabic (المعرفة.com)

I have 2 solutions for this situation ..
1st: we are in the auction forum and the seller is not allowed to change what he declares in his auction unless all the bidders agree. This happened with me with the idn programming.com when some bidders didn't agree to set a BIN as i have forgot to set it in the 1st place.. So it is jacksonm's decission in this solution

2nd : our friend Dns seems to be from Saudi Arabia, were ppl there have general weakness in English language, Besides Dns is not familiar with auction terms as i found from his post here too :
http://www.idnforums.com/forums/8545...9-%2450-a.html

jacksonm, the solution is in ur hands, either u excuse Dns for his English weakness or the seller has to sell u the idn for $10 because this is his mistake..

update: Dns has replied to my pm and he told me that he meant to start the auction by $5 with $10 increment and $100 BIN.

and he says that he didn't distinguish between BIT and BID .

Hi,
You said BIT, which is not an acronym here. Do you mean BIN $50 for me?

If so, then I will agree to it. Please PM me your payment details.

Seems like a very fair solution for both parties, and still a good deal for you MJ.

Dns confirmed to me that he offered u a $50 BIN because of the mistake made in this auction.

Now it's time to say Congratulations again :)

This deal finally went through. Thanks to Dns.

Also, very big thanks to Ala101 for assisting in every step, or it would not have happened.

And one word of advice: Sellers in Saudi Arabia can not accept paypal, only send. This was a major pain in the ass for me.

A system we use with Chinese sellers is to "deposit" money into their Domainsite "depository" account.
They can then use the money to buy more names or renew names etc. Then they can transfer those
names purchased to another DS account for security.

Yes, I also suggested the same thing to the seller in this case after I figured out that paypal would not work at all, but he didn't agree. The reason? He said that he's not interested in buying any more domains.
