Question Appraisal Needed

Just bought these three Arabic IDNs...

تطريز.com
Embroidery.com

فرصةعمل.com
JobOpportunity.com or BusinessOpportunity.com

سجلات.com
Records.com (can also be Archives.com in some contexts)

They were available at reg fee! Any thoughts? Especially from fellow Arab-speakers, but all input is very appreciated...

Re: Appraisal Needed

The best one among these 3 is سجلات.com .
It has a premium use for Governments,
Besides, it is also premium for offering Guest book services for Arab websites it could generate a fortune if developed well !

The فرصةعمل.com is also a 2nd premium after فرص-عمل.com .

^ just my 2 cents ^

Re: Appraisal Needed

because if you remove it , the two letters there will connect with each other and become like this :
فرصعمل which will never ever be accepted in Arabic language !

Re: Appraisal Needed

Thanks ala101 for the feedback and the ideas. I appreciate it.

IDNCowboy: Arabic is a language where words are written using letters that must be connected to each other. In other words, Arabic does not have "cursive" vs "print" writing. It's all cursive. If you separate letters (keep in mind that their form changes, based on where they are in the word: separate, beginning, middle, end), then you are creating new words. There are exceptions to this, but it is a good rule of thumb to use if you do not speak the language.

With this knowledge, writing two words without a space will either result in the creation of as third word that may or may not mean something. More often than not, it will not mean anything. Since spaces are not allowed in domain names, a dash is chosen to separate words. Oh, and if people are wondering if it is possible to do something like JobOpportunities (as opposed to jobopportunities or job-opportunities), then that is not possible because Arabic does not have upper- and lower-case forms of letters.

I hope this did not confuse people too much.
