Re: Brunei البروناي

yeah it is a country

I think brunei people write it بروني

arabic people pronounce it بروناي or سلطنة بروناي

but the name has no OVT results and the country is very small

only total: 5,770 sq km

and the population is little around 372,361 (July 2005 est.)

the king of brunei act like an owner not a ruler and he is one of the richest in the world because of petrol there and I heard he is married to tens of brunei girls .

good luck with the name however , the king may be interested ... haha

Re: Brunei البروناي

Seems like they use Arabic letters for decorative purposes in titles, but actually use Latin letters. Strange.

"Official language is Malay. Other languages include English and Chinese (various dialects). "
http://www.brunei.gov.bn/about_brunei/language.htm

"The State crest in red superimposes the center of the flag. … Embodied in the crest in yellow Arabic script is the state motto, which can be roughly translated: Always Render Service by God's Guidance ... The characters inscribed on the crescent is the National slogan, "Always in service with God's guidance". The scroll beneath the crest reads "Brunei Darussalam" which means "Brunei, the abode of peace"."
