New Version of IE7 in 8 Languages initially

The updated IE7 will be available on the Windows Download Center (DLC) in eight initial languages. Additional languages will be added as they become available.

Users running systems in English, German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese will be able to download the new Internet Explorer 7 at the time of this announcement. Versions for Finnish, Arabic, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Polish, Turkish, Czech, Hungarian, Greek, Hebrew are planned for late October or early November release....

If it doesn't autoupdate, how does that help us? Multiple languages have been available for a long time.

It indicates very strongly where their priorities lie.

Clearly the Far East is what is on their mind right now.

I am try to install the new version over the carnage left when I uninstalled the old version after it flounder and died. I will let you know how I get on. The old version failed to reinstall, so this is a bit of an acid test.
