Re: Adopted Board Resolutions | Sydney, Australia

my question....

Is this a cameroon registry nightmare avoidance paragraph ???

synthesizing and redirection was the wildcard ....(*.cm) issue with
Cameroon that Kevin Ham did to grab misspelled type-ins ....

Essentially........ anycorrectterm.cm went to him, with google /yahoo ads etc..

So....

is aliasing redirection in any way ?
it is not redirection if there is a legitimate whois with GTLD's.

granted cctld whois is a nightmare for dozens of cctlds.

from my viewpoint ....it is a direct look-up in very close to real time.
validation is 2x to 4x with traditional and simplified characters in the Chinese case....

CJK seems to have eliminated character phishing from what I can tell in china, japan and korea so far..
Again, arabic script phishing is a different issue for farsi/urdu etc....

And aliasing is a process not conducted in the root zone servers themselves...

so is this a roundabout way to say....
wildcarding is bullshit.....we will crack down on it.
but aliasing or whatever it is called eventually in a non root server process is ok ?

thanks..

Steve
