票.net -> even 票.com is useless, let alone 票.net.  Chinese words come in pairs, i'm sure you are aware.

You're telling me there are no single character chinese words, like dog, cat etc?

Cats and dogs are single characters but they are used in a sentence and seldom as a standalone term.  Maybe IDNer or IDNic can explain better.

Having said that, there might be some terms that might be suitable as a single character, e.g. 财.com, 囍.com.
