2007, .CN is fast losing out to .COM in China, at least from Google trends.

Question:

How is the top ranked sub region Xinjiang and the top ranked city Urumqi?

Another interesting article I picked up from the news index pages:

My Space CEO recommends .CN for both international and domestic comapnies

This is what I don't get about Baidu trends:

The User Focus amount for .com is 2932

the User focus amount for yahoo.com.cn is 4437

Re: 2007, .CN is fast losing out to .COM in China, at least from Google trends.

I did think about .cn versus .com.cn but can't really figure out why there is no count for .com.cn. be it baidu or google trends.

btw, did you see the billionaire report? This is good news, no doubt there is a stock and real estate bubble, but if China can achieve 106 billionaires as a developing country (HK is another 17), it should be able to attain at least 500 billionaires as an emerging economy in about 10-15 years time.

I'm optimistic on either one, although I do have my preferences.

I'm reading through the report now.

Re: 2007, .CN is fast losing out to .COM in China, at least from Google trends.

If it can go from 15 to 106 in 2 years we could be looking at 500 in as little as a year.
I would bet my cock that they will be more than 500 in 15 years. Mind you by then it may not be much use to me!

Save your cock. How do you know if they won't strike off 2 zeros within that 15 years?

Anyway, because of differences in cost of living, land, goods and services, and exchange rate, a dollar billionaire in China would need at least 5 billion dollars to acquire the same amount of goods, land, and services in the US.

Which effectively makes these guys 5 times richer than all ready stated, and means that the rest of my 500 can just sit back and rely on currency appreciation to make the grade. This can only go one way.

Touch,

Your list is not correct, go to the wikipedia site to get the current version.

Also, I have 浙江省.com. I would guess half of the billionaires are and will be from Zhejiang .

Which list?

Do you mean this?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._by_population

There are 666 "cities" in China, so 30 is the top 5 percent.

I got a few .com and .nets, the best is Suzhou.com.

I was in the process of negotiating Shenzhen.com for $3500 (yes, that was 2006 January!), regreted not offering more, so another guy grabbed it, damn, what was i think then??
