Angry Why I hate GoDaddy!
Besides having to deal with a suck ass page design and tons of spam to register a domain AND having to fgo throught endeless atempts to find the latest updated coupon codes before registering/renewing, they HAVE NOW increased .Com prices by 12%!!! adding $.62 to Verisign's $.42 increase!

I used to hate all that spam, do you want like 150 different type of services. Havent bought a domain from there in a long time.

GoDaddy has their niche for the most part serving "non" professional domainers. Best service IMO...if you have a
domain dropping they will usually call you on the phone to confirm non-renewal. So for some it is worth it not to lose any
names by oversight. So if you don't like em' just switch registrars at renewal time. Simple process.

They hardly called me and let 5 of my prime domains drop due to their auto renew bs

Maybe its a service we signed up for...don't know. Just know that they do call us.
Maybe cause we intentionally dropped a good amount of ascii names this last year.

they don't call outside of the usa i tihnk.

i don't rely on expiry alerts - i login every month or so to check if my names still exist.

We don't rely on the calls either, I just know we get them.
Best practice is to try and stay at least 3 months ahead.
