ICANN Los Angeles- Any updates or news?

Seems most of the IDN discussions were behind the "closed" doors.
Other than what Sammy reported here, very little public news or press information coming out of the meeting it seems.
Looks like the good bit of momentum has perhaps stalled again.

You need to look at what goes through the Board.

Everything else is just fluff.

Without reading I imagine it can be summed up... "the weather was nice, the food was good and everyone got
voted onto the numerous new committees that were formed to study future issues upon which we will meet upon".

Yes.

More committees, more meetings, more hot air.

I knew the bureaucracy was bad. But I never imagined it was THIS bad. I just never conceived that such a level of "doing nothing while looking like we're doing something" was possible.
