""イエローページ" is yellowpages. There is no plural in japanese"

Guys, saw this domain for sale. Have copied some of the relevant text from the post for your comment.

Is this true that there is no plural of words in Japanese?

I know I have seen discussions of "hotel" and "hotels" somewhere on this site.

No plurals in Chinese or Japanese -- or I should say, there is no distinction on the term itself whether it's plural or singular -- not sure about Korean Hangul, but I suspect the same.

Re: Post re Translation

There is usually not a plural form of many words.
When the term is in katakana it is usually a representation & pronounciation of the forum word. In this case Yellow Page.

The Hotels is my domain. I'm not sure about the extent of the use of yellowpages in Japan so I can't tell anything about the commercial value.

My reasoning on registering Hotels was even though it is not a huge ovt the meaning is actually known by all Japanese, plus I own all 3 extensions & with Hotel the dot jp is reserved by the registry.

Because of the low ovt bid I know it won't spur much interest on English sites but it will on the Japanese side.
