Why arabic domains get a lot of traffic from Morocco and Algeria

Despite most websites in Algeria being in French language, there is some Arabic language traffic coming out of these countries.

I think I figured out why my Arabic minisites get the most traffic from these countries - all the traffic comes through google.fr (France), although the users have Algerian and Moroccan IP addresses:

1. They don't have their own google, so I believe they are served google.fr by default
2. My domain what ranks on page 2 or 3 in google.com is actually at spot #4 in google.fr


That's it, the mysterious Algerian traffic is solved. Well, I suppose the domain in question would get a hell of an amount of traffic if it ranked higher in gooogle.com.
