IDNs on DNJ

Nobody's posting these anymore?

Elsewhere, in a pair of private sales, IDN's Tarjetasdecrédito.com ("credit cards" in Spanish) and Tarjetadecrédito.com ("credit card" in Spanish) sold for $7,500 each.

Supermärkte.de (IDN) €1,827 = $2,708 Sedo

Gründer.de ("founder" in German), brought $1,557

Funny how one minute we are told dot Com won't fly and the next we are spammed with dot Biz. How does that work?

I would hazard a guess that if using a hyphen it should be tarjetas-de-crédito

Re: IDNs on DNJ

Would the Japanese use the hyphen?

I went for クレジッ・トカード

I was told the dot is used to separate things on a list and in names. But i would assume for SEO purposes both would work just fine anyway. But the Credit-Cards.biz is regged by a Japanese native and it appears that クレジッ・トカード.biz was just regged as the whois is not showing yet. So yeah the Japanese are using Hyphens and there are alot more regged then just Credit-Cards by them.

Re: IDNs on DNJ

Slight misunderstanding there. I registered the dot com some time ago.

I remember when you picked it up i thought it was quit clever , i went for the .jp a few months ago and it was gone. Checked the Hyphens and was even more suprised.

I was referring to the Dot Biz of your dot com when i said the whois wasn't showing yet.

Re: IDNs on DNJ

クレジッ・トカード or クレジッ- トカード is perhaps ok for SE purpose. But if you check yahoo.jp or google.wtf you will find that クレジットカード is always a single word, no space or hyphen within the word.

クレジットカード.com does get good traffic and rev.

Re: IDNs on DNJ

Markits, I was never intending to suggest that either of these comes close to yours.

I was just questioning the assumption that next best thing (an awful long way behind) might not be with with the ASCII hyphen.

If anything this kind of confusion just makes yours all the more valuable.

The"・"RD used is a Japanese symbol for "-". ・.com・・・.com etc are regged.

BTW, I own

tarjetasdecrédito.org (Spanish credit cards)
cartesdecrédit.org (French credit cards)

Not sure how much these two will be worth.

Re: IDNs on DNJ

Also good to know "tarjetasdecrédito" is much worth than "tarjetascrédito".

CC domains owners: check this link: http://credit-land.com/1003/1003_page_12779_23252.php
