Dentsu started using IDNs for TV Commercial
I just heard that KAO Corporation's latest TV commercial is using IDN "夜洗い.com".
The very interesting fact is, this domain's registrant is not KAO but DENTSU TEC INC.
It wasn't the case with KAO's earlier IDN website "カワイイをつくる.com".

Dentsu is the BIGGEST advertising company in Japan, and what they do has a huge influence.
It now appears that Dentsu is actively promoting IDNs to be used for commercials.
VERY GOOD news indeed.

BTW, KAO is a major manufacturer of household products.

BTW- another offer today to buy a Japanese IDN... this time a .com for a change.

I have catagorized IDNs since day 1 as being an "Advertising Agencies dream come true".
Guess it's time to buy some stock in Dentsu.

They made a small mistake though actually major.

Someone forgot to redirect the www 夜洗い.com version to the site.

& Bill it's Ryu, not Rhys...

There's also different Dentsu companies.

The main Dentsu has one of the best looking office buildings I've ever seen.
