December started of slow, but today I had record hits/clicks. Best day ever by far. Everything else is fairly normal (slowly increasing), but some of the new Russian regs from November kicked in. Wow! Sometimes you just make the right choices. Those domains had been on my 'to buy later' list for well over a year.

Russian dot nets are doing much better the last 30 days. Japanese, Arabic, and Greek are doing better, too.

Anyone else?

November was my best month to date. December is already showing about 30% stronger than November at this time.

Swedish & Polish always do a fair share for me, too. Especially Swedish. However, Japanese has recently jumped to the top three over Polish and may overtake Swedish some day.

Russian, Russian, Russian.... I cannot believe how hard it is to sell Russian IDNs here considering how well they perform. Thank goodness I set all my ND domains to Not For Sale.

All our (good) IDNs are exploding; seems that explorer 7 is doing well.

2 french IDNs for xxxx € sold this month also (one will certainly be published).

Think that 2008 will be the year we were waiting for.

I have an 86.07% increase in revenue on the same period as this time last month. (Last month was my best month by far)

PPC is double what it was this time last month.
Views are up 34.27%
CTR is down though from 18.5% in November to 12.34% this month.

If this continues it's gonna be hard to justify building sites and using adsense!

For Top Generics development was never going to be the answer. The ASCII crowd have yet to make it work.

Yes, there is some money to be made developing obscure terms but it is a niche market!

Why filter out US traffic?

Are we aware of how many non-native English speakers there are in the US?

Heck, I spent half the day yesterday in a part of San Francisco where barely anybody speaks English.

On top of that, the IDN support in browsers is high in North America.

My guess is that there is more legitimate traffic coming from North America than there is speculator traffic.

Not my experience. Most of it seems to have a speculator signature all over it. Doesn't generally convert well either, and at best is spasmodic.

The only real deal at the moment is Russian. And that is from a culture that has no great history of using dot Com!

A lot of us traffic might be research bots or search bots. analytics filters out bot traffic,

I thin when people talk about "filtering out US traffic" here, they're talking about ignoring it for statistical purposes, rather than meaning "blocking it", Joe.

Yeah, I know. My point is that there is legit traffic from the US, just as there are bots from outside the US. Without knowing the exact ratio of legit traffic to bots, I'm not sure how useful the filtering is.

The CTR is pretty consistent (around 10-11%) whether the traffic comes from Asia or North America.

I agree with zen. There are TONS of immigrants in the US that speak their first language better and generally only visit sites in their mother language. Of course this depends on the country. Most Russians are in Russia, but things are different with other languages.

I have one unindexed ascii site which provides niche news and gets visited 2 times per day, every weekday, by the CIA. Sadly, they never click my ads and since google refuses to index the site every since I bought it from a drop, it doesn't earn any revenue. PM me if you want to know the name of the site.

Anyway, I have noticed that the same folks have visited a few of my Arabic minisites now and then - and they are not linked or mentioned from the above mentioned ascii site. Things that make you go hmm...
