anyone here ever surf this forum on a blackberry?
I've been meaning to ask this question for ages...
On my blackberry browser I cannot view threads with non ascii characters in the thread title, the wheels just spin and it times out with a weird message.
Anyone else get this?

Hi Alpha,
I have exactly this problem with my Nokia N95 native browser. Installing Opera Mini 4 solved the problem.

Time to get a real PDA - like HTC ...
2nd mJackson's comment - Opera Mini works, so should be an option for the Blackberry... but it is slow using that, compared to a true PDA (rather than blackberry) browser software like Opera Mobile 8.65 etc.

I dl'd opera mini 3 and it works beautifully - kudos to you sir
And Asiaplay, yeah surfing on a bb pearl is not pretty, but until the iphone etc has at least 3G and proper bb style always on email, I'm gonna stick with this.

opps - no 3G or WIFI link - agree - stick to the blackberry
Will be nice once you get that - beach cafe and idnforums would be the ticket

Why didn't you add Mini 4?

Re: anyone here ever surf this forum on a blackberry?
Because I read on a forum that there's firmware issues with my bb pearl and mini 4. Mini 3 is recommended.
