there are 3 ways

+ the first way is the usual way that people mistype a letter by another letter

like gahoo instead of yahoo ...the same applies to arabic IDNs

+ the second way is you try alternative pronounciation for popular terms like

syx.com and cex.com instead of sex.com...but it needs you know arabic very well

+ the third and most important ( only happens with IDN ) is people forget to shift from arabic to english and while they are typing are english name they type an IDN which is meaningless because they are using the same keyboard

but it will get traffic in case they are typing big sites like yahoo

for example yahoo will be غشاخخ which is a meaningless word but may get some traffic
but the IDN which is the pronounciation of yahoo is ياهو

you can find some if you have arabic keyboard without any knowledge of the laguage

I think this may apply for all japanese and chinese .... but don't know how their keyboards work
