Slow parking day
After having my grand record parking day yesterday, this day is a bit of a fizzle. Everybody must be shining their rockets.
Did anyone else see a record parking day yesterday?

Re: Slow parking day
Both yesterday and the day before were great.
Today is slower...but the counter is much higher than normal. (38%)

Well December's parking revenue doubled November's, November's tripled October's, October's was a 150% increase over September's. In other words, the parking revenue has climbed significantly during the 4th quarter.
It's nice to get monthly payouts :-)

Re: Slow parking day
So do you think you could come up with an annualised growth rate for comparison purposes before things really start to take off?

I don't think that I can really provide a representative picture because my portfolio is so small and young compared to almost everybody else here.

No pulling your leg, but I was trying to make the point that 100% per month is over 400,000% per year. 200% per month would be over 50 Million per cent per year, and we think that things are not even happening yet.
Rick is right, we should not could those who are not already invested in IDN stupid. We should show a bit of human compassion!

The last couple of days has been slow. Still the best month to date however.

How long have you parked? Names usually experience strong increments within 3-5 months of parking, only to fall off after 6 mths.

Well to be honest with you most of the ones which are bring the revenue are not even indexed anywhere.
I might have spoken too soon, though - the day appears to be picking up rapidly!

Are you referring to names where the ascii equivalent are existing sites with alexa? If so, you'll get type-in instantly.

Re: Slow parking day
It is difficult to say. ND does not update in real time.

Is type-in unbelievable, other than traffic hijacking?

Re: Slow parking day
Very slow yesterday and today for me. I was on track to beat November, but may come up about even with November. Cyrillic (Russia/Ukraine) hit a record high, again, but Swedish & Japanese fell short this month near the end of the month.

Re: Slow parking day
Comparison with November is not a problem. Japanese let me down last month as well!

I have regged several Russian IDNs that get type-in almost instantly. I think RD is correct. When I check out the IDN, there is sometimes an ascii.ru that is similar (e.g. тхэквондо.com). However, many times, the word is just very popular (e.g. СайтЗнакомств.com, Поцелуи.com, Стерва.com).

I had a slump Saturday and Sunday. Weird... was like a HUGE dip. Things seem back to normal today. Wonder what accounted for the huge dip. I'm going to research it tomorrow!
