Post to Bid VS Post to Claim

What is the difference between them?

And why to write this at all?

I think it is obviously that You have to post to bid

Correct me, please.

Re: Post to Bid VS Post to Claim

I think post to bid, means no bids via PM so all bids are kept in the thread.
Post to claim, helps reminds the seller when the auction is finished?

Re: Post to Bid VS Post to Claim

I started this up. I did it because it was necessary.

I don't do it any more as most people here seem to have grasped the basic mechanics of an Auction.

Previously, some thought they could bid in secret, but I never accepted such bids.

Re: Post to Bid VS Post to Claim

I think that you can only post that when you have a auction with a BIN set.
Then, when you "Claim" you claim BIN and the auction ends.
