Hmm, could you add links to the wikipedia page and the online translators which state that the Russian word "стать" means sex (gender)?

As far as I know, the Russian word "стать" is not a translation of the English word SEX[gender].

Latvian language doesn't use cyrillic letters. In my signature you can see a Latvian word.

Стать means gender in ukrainian. In russian it will be пол.
