Phones not really used too much to surf the net where i am at the moment (Australia), interesting to see so many different ways of accessing URLs.

yeah, hardly anyone uses pcs for internet - its all cell phones. every site in japan needs to be cell phone compatible if it wants to be successful - even their facebook equivilant - mixi.jp - displays correctly!

what relly sucks is that not every phone is idn compatible!

Seeing that Japanese people are massively using alternative ways of accessing URLs (Love the blank e-mail one, very creative), IDNs will definitly be seen as a godsend no?

not exactly sure cos i wasnt paying attention but i remember reading about google adsense for mobile either coming out for japan soon, or coming out in general.

i also saw a link somewhere, perhaps here, for a japanese mobile ad operator. anyone else got the link?
