Actually, I have just realized something very interesting. Although, Urdu is largely Hindi in Persian script, a lot of common words are borrowed from Persian or Farsi.

It seem that the reason some of the above terms are so popular is nothing to do with the level of development in Urdu either in Pakistan or India, but because the terms are being used in Iran.

If you look up terms in Urdu, which probably isn't going far at the moment, but you have a common term in Persian or Farsi, that means when Urdu does get going that term is going to have widespread recognition and application.

I reccomend that if you do invest initially limit yourself to 30 or so superd high profile domains only.

Especially if the market is wide open now.

Look on the OVT bid tool & look for terms that bring in high bid
Then look for terms that have high OVT results...

Yes if you can get in this early even 10 would be good. It is always a law of diminishing returns if you know what to go after in the first place. Some of these terms though would fetch 6-7 figures as an English dot com. Settle for 1% of that and your still talking 4-5 figures.

One of the reason these are so wide open is that getting translations is difficult. I did some Bengali this morning but the online dictionary could not come up with a term for more than about a quarter of my queries, which were certainly not obscure words.

Google scores on Bengali are really low at the moment, but Bengali has really only just gone on line. Still it a huge language group.
