Yes, the name can be used, but unless a national chain suddenly appears with that name, you aren't going to have any buyers.

I think that "names" are pretty good investments, not up there with generics, product keywords or cities, but IMO
worth xx in current market, xxx in a year or so, and x,xxx when thing gear up in a few years. Especially if you can
get the first name of a major porn star

My question is about using the double "dots" over the letter (as shown here) ё
Advice to me was to avoid regging letters with the double dots.
Appreciate any information on this.

I think both domains are good and will be worth in future.

As for ё - this is official russian letter and it is present on each russian keyboard.

Алёна.com & Алена.com are both correct spellings. Sometimes the word is correctly spelled with ё. When in doubt, reg both.

These two get vastly more traffic & revenue than Japanese domains. Lower RPC, good CTR, a lot more traffic.

First Names are always worth it.....and celebrity names particularly good as well.

They do get nice traffic, and decent revenue.

According to the Yandex numbers, they also get a fair bit of interest.

They receive consistent, targeted traffic. Usually, they receive traffic the day you reg them. That has been my experience....

I have learned that there are a few words where this character is preferred, but for the most part it is not. It's always worth comparing how you see it written most frequently in the google serps - counting serps is not enough because unfortunately google doesn't often distinguish between these sorts of things.
