I have this domain in .net, translation I believe is "savings bank". Wordstat is 480,000. Are there any trademark
issues related to this name, or is this generic? I have an interested buyer from Russia, so want to make sure there

Do not know about TM, but isn't it smth like National (goverment) Bank? Or is it a Private Bank?

How do you check on tm for Russian words.
I see it used as a 2 word combination for most part by many different companies.

more than 51 % belongs to the state

I get it. It is USSR state bank. Now it is in Russia, Ukraine and (I think) in other SU countries. In Ukraine, f.e. same is ощадбанк (ощад=сбер, ощадний=сберегательный).
