Some Korean domainer use Naver keyword advertisement index(NKAI) to
determine KoreanIDN Appraisal and say that if KoreanIDNs are activated, Korean Domain type-in traffics
reach to 10%~ 15% of NKAI.
The ad fee is determined by auction.

Thks. My best korean generic dot com comes in at 310k. Best dot net comes in at 1.2 million.

How do they compare traffic-wise to the lesser ones?

The better ones may get a dozen or so views a month, but that's about it. Traffic is too little for comparison.

Also, some names like geographics get more hits on a per OVT basis (which is also what i noticed for Chinese cities). My KoreanRepublic.com gets top hits despite a Naver OVT score of only 80k.

However, keywords with similar ascii website, might get dozens or even hundreds of views.

A lot of the traffic comes from search engines, longer/lesser names usually get better ranking in search engines, and more traffic.

The same applies to japanese names, the medium single terms get less traffic than the compound terms.
