I know that UK and the EU has VAT, which is applicable even for imports. How do domainers handle this?

It is essential your UK sales don't go over a certain limit.

Sales outside the EU are always excluded. The ruling we got stated that those to continental EU were also excluded, although in reality that makes very little difference unless you sell through SEDO which is based in Germany.
