It's pronounced Koni... As in I have absolutely no clue...
But it's not fujiyama

If I see anymore I'll correct them.

Since you are a multilingual IDNer you should also start seperating your list & put whether they are actually Chinese or Japanese translations...
Just a thought...
Olney, these are part of our portfolio we will either sell or probably drop to make room for something more interesting. $20 is a about the minimum level it worth my time messing about doing a transaction and just about covers cost on the individual domain in question, I am not therefore prepared to a do a research project on them.

The problem is, if you look at things from a purely Japanese perspective only, there are those that are Japanese and those that are not. Obviously, Hirigana is unique to Japan, but when it comes to Kanji it all becomes very complicated. Often much Chinese has never been simplified so both version are the same. Much Traditional Chinese is also part of the Japanese Script, so an individual word can have meaning in Japanese as well as both Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Other terms have Kanji that is distinct from Chinese as it has been modified by the Japanese, but some of this has then been readopted by the Chinese.

Generally, the symbols impart the same meaning but sometimes there are distinct nuances and with words the meaning can change. Where Chinese and Japanese are the same, the pronunciation is totally different as they are unrelated languages. My point is from a linguistic perspective they are different, but from a domainers prospective they are difficult to differentiate.

Thanks for the correction, any others welcome.

Best Regards
