Post Google's feature to exclude ads on parking sites

Google Adwords has added a feature
that allows advertisers to exclude ads from
showing up on domain parking sites.
This will affect parked domains on any of
Google’s ad feeds, regardless of whether
it is the “search” feed or “content” feed.
Examples of domain parking companies using
Google include DomainSponsor and Sedo.

Re: Google's feature to exclude ads on parking sites

I think what we can conclude from Google's actions during the past year are:

1. Google hates domainers.

2. Google will try to make the business model of domaining unprofitable.

They can't steal the type-in traffic no matter what they do, but they can stop paying for it, leaving domainers with the difficult task of selling traffic by themselves. I think if the search engines had it their way, browsers wouldn't even have address bars for direct navigation.

If clicks on parking pages don't perform well for advertisers, then this had to happen, I guess.

That is irrational. They would not be market leaders in Type-In Monetization if they had no interest.

So I wonder if google is going to allow for ads on the domains they sponsor for parked pages? Sound like a class action to me

Maybe, but the flow of type-in may be an important part of what threw them to the top of the heap in the first place. They could be playing a dangerous game if they try to kill off parked pages.

Well, it wasn't Franks domains that made them money. Those are on a Yahoo feed.
