Yes, not just a placename but a surname too.

Good price tho, I would say, for this relatively obscure name. Other quinty British names, e.g. jeeves.com, are of course in a different league entirely...

This is not about the town. Google trends do not function properly when drilling down like that.

Also, a town is not a city.

Smithers is a fairly meaningful word in English speaking cultures.
