Retirement dreams? Just regged 退職願い, but 退職願 is already developed. Is 退職願い correct, grammatically? Does it make sense? Keep or drop?

退職願い looks perfectly fine to me. But, if I type in "taishokunegai" and try to convert it into Japanese, IME gives only 退職願 as a viable option. That'd decrease the change of ppl typing 退職願い.

it's nothing to do with honorific. it's just a spelling difference. pronounciation is exactly the same.
