Can IDNs infringe on Trademarks?

I want to buy japanese language domains of popular companies in america but can I get in trouble and be forced to give up a domain or get sued?

Thank you.

Thank you.
I'm sure dot-com and dot-net IDNs would be under the same terms as any regular dot-coms or dot-nets. So, yes, IDNs can infringe on TMs.

I found funny some of you telling this guy he will be sued when many members own several japanese companies. In fact, i just saw a member pretending now to be an "israeli" on whois even has yahoo.com ヤフー.com :p

I've recently registered a bunch of amazing generics. There's no need to infringe.
