Re: холостой.com does it mean single.com
It does, but is only used as adjective refering to males only, single form. And though you can say in Russian - "I'm single" (я холостой) or He's single (он холостой) - as a stand alone word this is not making much sense - especially as a domain name.
If you want to say that a person is single you would use different words - depending on the situation, but in comparison with English hot word "single" the same word in Russian is not so frequently used - maybe because it has some slightly negative connotation.
The word for a single man would be ХОЛОСТЯК (ХОЛОСТЯКИ -plural). Single female - ХОЛОСТЯЧКА (ХОЛОСТЯЧКИ plural) - which is practically not used.
Other word that is used in a conversation is НЕЖЕНАТЫЙ - which literally means "not married" - but this word won't make a good domain name either.
Russian would rather use one universal word in practically all situations to refer to everything related to dating, matchmaking, singles etc. - the magic word is ЗНАКОМСТВА - which means dating, matchmaking, hookups, introductions and even connections.
