Still let's have a discussion of who is the right man to lead the new forum.
Be careful, though. I was banned ( and my comments erased) for expressing an opinion about "Ross" character"-not sure why. I think that he is one of the options but I personally would like to see forum and domain owned by community.

A multi-ownership situation has been discussed and I'm in agreement that it's a nightmarish proposition. Better to have two or three small communities that get along for the most part than one big one where one blow-up could lead to a domain redirect or MYSQL dump.

Forum by committee sound like a good idea, but it would never work.

We'll see how this experiment goes. I have faith in MJ, he and Jose seemed to make nice the last time I saw them in the same thread. Technically, they're two of the best people for the job around here, so both DNL and the new forum are in capable hands.

You know something? you have allowed yourself to be made used of. the more you moan, the more publicity michael gets. Not saying this is a bad thing, but politics is part of business, and where there is money, there is politics. you should make better use of your time by registering more good names.

Either way, running a forum is a lot like Shel Silverstein's "Missing Piece." Hold on too tight, and the piece breaks; hold on too loose, and it slips away.

I am not registering anymore. As far as michael, I wish him luck, he is going to need it with the new forum.
