Re: dnlocal.com - Powered by vBulletin
Fka200, Clotho, IDNer, JacksonM, I am sorry. All fixed now.
Due to the conversion, some fields on users tables have values that trigger the vb auto-ban. I am still trying to figure it out why. (And have asked vb support team help)

Hey, jose, where's your website that consolidates new posts from various forums. We may need that in time to come. LOL.

Re: dnlocal.com - Powered by vBulletin
The crisis at IDNFs has been going on for at least two years.
Most people here only woke up to the problem last week. Very few people actually listen to the Duck, but being right is not something that leads to massive public support. That is why we all get the politicians that collectively we deserve.
Anyway a few word of Wisdom from the great Johnny Cash:
We got married in a fever,
Hotter than a pepper sprout,
We been talking 'bout Jackson,
Ever since the fire went out.
I'm going to Jackson,
I'm gonna mess around.
Yeah, I'm going to Jackson,
Look out Jackson Town.
We're going down to Jackson,
Go ahead and wreck your health.
Go play your hand you big-talking man,
And make a big fool of yourself.
Yeah, go to Jackson,
Go comb your hair.
I'm then gonna snowball Jackson,
See if I care.
When I breeze into that city,
People gonna stoop and bow,
All them woman gonna make me,
Teach 'em what they don't know how.
I'm going to Jackson,
You turn loose my coat,
Cause I'm going to Jackson,
Goodbye, that's all she wrote.
They're gonna laugh at you in Jackson,
And I'll be dancing on a pony keg.
They'll lead you 'round town like a scalded hound,
With your tail tucked between your legs.
Yeah, go to Jackson,
You big-talking man,
And I'll be waiting in Jackson,
Behind my Jay pan plan.
Well now, we got married in a fever,
Hotter than a pepper sprout.
We've been talking 'bout Jackson,
Ever since the fire went out.
I'm going to Jackson,
And that's a fact.
Yeah, we're going to Jackson,
Ain't never coming back.
We got married in a fever,
Hotter than a pepper sprout.
We've been talking 'bout Jackson,
Ever since the fire went out.

Don't worry, Dave. I won't let anyone else take your RubberDuck handle over at the new place. You'll be using it soon.

Cmon Dave, in this case you refused to listen to many of the DNL members.
The ONLY reason a new forum was started was because you refused to put in a VBulletin in over at DNL and that is the platform everyone wanted to use. At least a dozen of us lobbied for it at DNL going back at least a year. In the last few weeks everyone asked again, and offered to PAY for it, and you still refused. Only after the new VBulletin site was funded and underway did you change your mind...which is a welcome addition since most will be members both places.

You were one of the few that had the courtesy to ask on the forum itself.
I don't think this has frankly much to do with VB. The fact that IDNFs is down 50% of the time had very little impact on your enthusiasm. Now you have all dropped it like a hot coal now that you realise that Craig has been alive and well all the time. To be fair to MJ, he was the only one that voice a shared opinion on that one.
Anyway, I will indicate my level of interest in joining you in Mickeyland. I haven't even got a clue what the place is called.

I think RD was sceptical that we would really switch over. mj pulled a coup by coming up with the donation idea and making ppl commit using money.
For me, i don't actually care, will follow wherever the crowd goes. lol

Re: dnlocal.com - Powered by vBulletin
Yes MJ has actually contributed in making dnl popular. Without MJ's kick (move), dnl will still a sms forum.
