Worth a bunch of trouble from Apple at some point IMO

have checked all trademark databases and in this language its not registered. you have to take a chance. I have had a chat with my ip lawyer and he was in the dark regarding the status.
What law would it come under?
1.I am in the uk.
2. domain name registrar is in America?
3. Arabic language?
This is one of the reasons i have posted this idn, to see what idners think and to create a debate. Lets get some imput and try to find out where we all stand?

Not sure what law it would come under, but my guess is in the US where dynadot is based. They file suit against you and dynadot hands it over. or something like that.

The TM issue is hazy. It's Cisco's mark, licensed to Apple (I think that's how it worked out). Anyway, Apple definitely marketed the product before they had Cisco's approval, which means their own lawyers were asleep at the wheel.

The fact that it's in Arabic convolutes it further, but if you have anything iPhone-related on the site, I would think it's as good as handing it over.

If you turned it into a site dedicated to something else (say, VOIP or a skype-like service), I would think you'd have an argument. Still though, visitors going to find an iPhone would immediately leave the moment they saw that the site was something else.

Maybe its value wasn't zero beforehand... But now that you asked what its' worth in the public domaining forum its value has become truly zero or even negative.
