Exclamation Am I going to get sued?!

Hi All,

I have registered several IDN domains beginning with "é" instead of "e".

Many of these domains in their "e" form sold for millions of dollars.

Some of these domains may well be trademarked, I am looking into each of these now.

Although I guess some of you will cry "cybersquatter", I would appreciate input on what the best thing to do with these domains should be.

Are they going to be of any value or am I going to be sued to hell and back?

Also as a side note: Where is the best place to check who owns the trademark? I have tired http://tess2.uspto.gov and for the term in question it returns several trademarks fr several different companies/individuals....?

Thanks!

I can't imagine (IDN) domains registered, beginning with "é," would have much, or any value, unless that is the proper spelling for a non-English word.

Anyway, the "e" prefix seems to be an antiquated naming convention, which has long ago cooled off.

Re: Am I going to get sued?!

I'd be careful registering domains identical to existing large properties with just a accent somewhere.

It's one think being labeled a cybersquatter, but being under suspicion for potential phishing by the FBI is another matter entirely.

Especially THESE days.
