Question A Gem of a find?

Hey, I found a company online who is selling their entire portfolio. I've been in the domain business for years and I must say this looks too good to be true!

The domains they are selling are TOPS - TLD's, and there are many! I contacted them and they are only considering six figure offers for the lot - which is understandable, what do you think though?

Personally I think investing in Domains is well worth it, I was just wondering what your views were of this collection? (www.globaldomainsales.com)

Thank you,

Re: A Gem of a find?

Really!

I think they are excellent!

They are generic pharases - like, Gamesanctuaries.com - that could be developed into a website all on its own - which could bring a ton of business.

There are a lot of tourist related names... But the tourism industry is huge bucks.

Mmmm.... Still think its a good find, suppose only for companies with cash to spend, not the average joe citizen.

Oh, and all those HIV/AIDS names.....

I'm quite intrigued as to how one could not see value in generic domain phrases -

Re: A Gem of a find?

If you think its such a great collection you should buy it ? But for some reason it sounds like a bit of self promo to me .

Bring 6figs to IDNs and you will make out okay !

You should not reveal the link, since someone may steal your gold! You know, we idners like to buy strange-looking names.

Wow! That's so cool!

If I had $1 for every domain I owned "that could be developed into a website all on its own" I'd have, oh, $9000!

Self-promoting a lame portfolio while pretending to not be yourself is pretty sad, by the way.
