Up for sale is the domain вологда.com (Vologda)

Vologda is a large city in Russia and is the (Administrative Center) of Vologda Oblast which is what we would consider a state in the US.

According to Wikipedia: "Vologda is known all over Russia for its cheese and butter, reputedly the best in Russia. The Romantic poet Konstantin Batyushkov was born and died in Vologda. There is also a small museum of Peter the Great."

I am taking bids now. Vologda has roughly the same population as Sochi with sold for around 21k.

The bidding will start at $100 The reserve is 5k.

Reserve is now lowered to 2k to help stimulate bidding. There is only one of these and is in the top 60 cities in Russia. Not to mention a capital of a state. When it's gone it's gone.
