What the date of your first registration?
There's some that have already dropped theirs but if you can remember what was it?

What got me inspired was I was able to just buy a lot of Japanese domains with Ovt over a million searches. At that time I didn't even want to touch anything below 500,000.
Remember there was no forum then just me & Rubber Duck emailing each other (That's also why he has alot of my dot nets).

I can remember when I told him about using ovt Japan... No one knew that OVT was only giving stats for the US at that time (except for me) but I thought everyone knew that.

The first day the testbed was open to registration in November 2000 I registered several country names. Which I let drop after a few years. The registrar actually called me at home on the phone asking if I wanted to renew! I said no.

First IDN reg that I still have is from late feb 2001. One of the first names I ever regged was a portuguese name that didnt contain diacritics.

Regged a bunch during the initial testbed like BFTP and some were later taken from me and the rest I let go.


BTW, they are showing epp status in the .com and .net whois results now.
