Yes, but unfortunately these deals are ridiculously cheap compared with deals that I have been doing off forum at about the same time.
Of course you might ask why we did not go after these. The simple answer is that we are only selling very selectively to push our renewals out into what we consider the safety zone. Investing in domains on forum to us is merely a distraction that would prove a drain on resources. Our annual renewal fees are around $30K, and we have been at this for four years, in fact if we get much further ahead we will be into our fifth year. The only way we can do this is to churn in the market, which makes no sense or to allow in venture capital which would want a large slice of the pie for buttons. No, we will be sitting tight and making selective disposals, but I can tell you we have been laughing off serious mid four figure offers and demanding ten times as much.

I was looking forward to the day when parking paid for renewals. With Google going down the gurgler, looks like that won't eventuate for a few years now at least. Net result - more sales to cover renewals.

We have a mixed picture. PPC has been declining for a while, conversion rates have dipped recently but traffic is still rising steadily. The overall picture is one of financial stagnation, but I am encourage by the traffic. If the traffic comes it will be valuable and it will be valuable by at least a factor of ten over today's rather disappointing levels.
Yes, we have all hoped that renewals would be paid for by traffic, but unlike some we have not limited our ambitions to those niches where this works out in the here and now. Many are focused consequentially focus on domains that will have less value longer-term, indeed many are likely to be a liability. I don't actually make huge amounts on my single characters in main languages. Does that make me think they are not worth renewing?
