Re: What have you got for $7000

Thanks so far everyone who has PM'd me.

Your PM's will stay confidential.

It's going to take me a while to sift through these PM's, so don't be offended if there is a delay in replying to any with an interest.

Please keep them coming, and by the way, from what I have seen so far IDNF members have some HUGE names, but I guess these aren't the best of the best of what you have - don't be shy - If you are sitting on anything huge, PM it across - you never know..

i dont think any of these guys who started long ago are not gonna let go any of "the best of the best" as u call them for that price. For a chinese domain, u should go to a chinese forum, instead of here, cheaper and more domains on sale.

You can't find the best Chinese domains in a Chinese forum - you just have to PM Giant.

Olney has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: What have you got for $7000

I think $7,000 would be Ok for one of the upper domains that some of us own but we couldn't sell them all that price.
Let a few go it's no problem.
I haven't put any out to market but I'm starting to think my jp Portfolio is getting just as good as my dot com portfolio..

Sorry, I only read the front part of this thread but not your post.

I agree, you can't find the best Chinese domains in a Chinese forum.

I own a few good domains, but I know where all the best Chinese domains are hiding. If their owners want to show up, it has to be here at this forum! Mind you, some are already here :-).

$3500-$7000 isn't a significant amt of money in Tokyo, but it's a big amount in most of China, except HK and maybe SZ, so there's also the exchange rate issue to consider.

Re: What have you got for $7000

Hello Alphamale,

Congratulations on managing a very professional transaction.

Without asking for a breach of confidence, but considering that hard figures are really what this industry needs - as opposed to "appraisals" based on opinion alone - can you find a way to announce the domains with their selling prices? This would be of great interest and use to other IDNers.

Thanks.

Regards,
VGemito

Re: What have you got for $7000

Looking forward to reading about your spending spree.

In the meantime, kudos for taking the bull by the horns and amassing a premier portfolio with some smart acquisitions. When you showed up in February, in retrospect, it was the only course of action with respect to Japanese IDN... great job.

I've pieced this together with a few whois audits :-)
