isn't monthly search results a part of the current domain appraisal system, how will domains be appraised if no one can see the results?

Google doesn't like "domain appraisals". All domains should be equal.
And you should start moving to:
sites.google.com
pages.google.com
docs.google.com
blogger.com
or
google +
Why the hell are you using our Adwords data, that is supposed to be used to lure people into spending money on Adwords, to check which web property is better?
Even worst, web property that is outside the googleplex, creating content outside the googleplex. Even't you heard there are people out there trying to make Google pay for crawling data outside googleplex?

I'm surprised you haven't posted the "IP" search yet.
Google: What's my IP or just IP without quotes.
Pretty much made all those IP checking sites worthless in one sweep.

Due to recent Google languages API changes, the Bing API is now the main source for idn.bz data. Thus, expect many changes:
1. Farsi is no longer supported.
2. Catalan, Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak or Slovenian can be added if users think they will bring added value. What do you say?
3. Top Ratings will change, as for instance, "Travel" in Thai is now "Tourism".

Added: Bing.com to replace Google. There is still the Google link below, dynamically configured for each term to show results and ads as if you were visiting from a native language country.

As of August 1, 2012, the Bing Search API has moved to the Windows Azure Marketplace - a one stop shop for data sets, cloud applications and analysis tools. We encourage developers to transition and continue accessing the Bing Search API.
As I said before, it was just a matter of time, after Google and Yahoo API went paying only.
