I GIVE UP! What is RYU's Avatar??? - IDN Forums

For months, I have been baffled, and still continue to be... I have looked closely, studied carefully, tried to make sense of it - but I can't figure it out. WHAT IS RYU's Avatar? It looks like a monkey's face coming out of the side of the face of a camel with two or three bananas or misaligned tusks. WHAT the H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS IS IT???

I can't get a llama out of it! I still see a monkey face with unpeeled bananas or something else.

Looks like a monkey coming out of the back of ALF's neck. Maybe it's another creature from Melmac.

The mystery deepens. Even with the new large version of the photo, it looks like a monkey/chimp face embedded in some furry part of an unknown animal. I don't get the orientation of the face and how its associated with what it appears to be a part of or attached to. Too bad we can't get a zoom-out to see what is going on there. But, it definitely doesn't look like a baby orangutan haning off of a mother's back or something like that.
