Hi again guys

Just registered another Russian IDN.net - труд.net - which I believe means Job, Work, Labour.

The Wordstat Numbers for труд is 1,182,939

Also, doing a search on Google.ru and entering труд. you see the following ...

Can any Russian speakers here confirm that the domain is correct, and any additional feedback would really be appreciated.

I believe труд is more stands for labour.

Работа is job and work.

Wait for more opinions.

Труд is Russian word. Used rare in meaning of work/job.

May be in Bulgaria it is primary for work/job? Should make more research.

Khurtsiya, do you have any idea why the Wordstat for this is over 1 million ?? Would people be searching for the word "labour" in such numbers ??

probably because all "Overture" type tools are flawed

I haven't checked out this term, but what I do know is that the Google Keyword tool is reporting just 27k exact monthly searches.

I see this a lot with other historical overture tools in other languages. Most of the time across multiple tools the numbers are similar or maybe +/- 50% either way. But when you see examples like this of 1mm vs 27k - to me it's a red flag.

I believe this is also because труд is less commercial term, but highly used in law and rules.

Though there are commercial phrases:

биржа труда -> labour stock
рынок труда -> labour market
